Head-to-Toe Dawn Bio

Head-to-Toe Dawn (nicknamed "Butch") is from Canada. She was raised by a single mother in Vancouver, B.C. When she was a teenager, she became obsessed with cars, especially after taking auto shop. She apprenticed to an auto mechanic after high school, and began her career.

In her early 20s, she moved to San Francisco with her girlfriend Chandra. They broke up shortly after Butch found a job. Chandra returned to Vancouver, but Butch decided to stay.

Dawn takes her convertible exclusively to Butch for repair, and is eager to refer others to Butch. Through Dawn, Butch has met many of Dawn's friends, and has struck up enduring friendships with Daphne, Glori (side-part), and Jessica.

In addition to tinkering with things, Butch loves gardening and spending time with her three poodles. Midnight, Snowball, and Mary Kay have taken to digging up her impatiens, but Butch just sighs and replants them.

Butch does occasional stints as a stand-up comedienne. She performs monthly at Josie's Cabaret and Juice Joint.

While Butch is known for her no-nonsense clothes and sensible manner, sometimes she likes to go out and femme it up, just to throw people off. Her friends love her playful sense of humor, even about herself, and enjoy seeing what she'll come up with next.
