Connie's BioConnie was born and raised in Ohio, in a suburb of Cleveland. She has a brother, Jared, and a sister, Rachel. As a child, Connie was very shy and introverted, but during her junior
year of high school, she began to blossom. She joined the high school
band as majorette, where her introspective demeanor transformed into a
flirtatious, cheerful extroversion. Being part of the school band gave
her confidence to make new friends and pursue her goals. She spent a week
during the summer at the National Majorette Camp in Arlington, Illinois.
She met Dawn (from San Diego) and Kip
(from Boston) at the camp. Connie and Kip became close friends and struck
up a correspondence after camp.

This win earned her a scholarship that she used to attend nursing school. After graduation, she worked as a licensed RN for a pediatrician in Cleveland. After a couple of years, Kip (who had since moved to San Francisco) arranged for Connie to get a lucrative position at a Bay Area hospital, and so Connie moved west.
![]() Nurse Connie Currently, Connie cares for terminally ill children and works with the city government to improve conditions of at-risk children. She occasionally co-hosts ESPN coverage of the Majorette competitions as a past celebrity. Connie is known for her sweet demeanor and smart, disciplined ways. She loves puppies, and likes to take her dogs camping with her. She and Kip often have lunch together and shop for shoes. As former majorettes, they both know the value of a good pair of stompin' boots. Disclaimer: These bios apply to the Dawn dolls who live with me--your dolls may have different stories.
