Gary's Bio

Gary is a native of Los Angeles. After his mother died when he was a 13, he and his brother, Doug, were raised by their father.

While in general an average student, Gary had a distinct passion in high school: drama class. He starred in many of the school plays, even singing lead in several musicals. When he graduated, he decided to pursue a career in acting.

To make ends meet, Gary became a bartender. Tending bar left him free to pursue auditions during the day. His persistence in the pursuit of his career paid off, and he landed several lucrative film roles (most notably Top Gun and Mission Impossible). He found particular success in action films.

At the high point of his film career, Gary was asked to be the Master of Ceremonies for the Miss America Beauty Pageant. It was there that he met and fell in love with Dawn, the winner of the Pageant. He moved to San Francisco after the pageant, to live near Dawn and continue their romance.

Once in San Francisco, Gary opened Club D, a trendy dance place soon became the sizzling hot nightspot in the City. He tends bar on occasion and regularly mixes with the clientelle. He still flies down to Los Angeles when film opportunities arise, but has in general settled in to Northern California life.

While engaged to Dawn, Gary met Daphne at Club D and experienced a crisis of heart. (More about that story another time...)

Gary's club business and acting career don't leave him much spare time, but when hecan, he enjoys going out to dinner at fine restaurants, attending cocktail parties (where his is known as quite the charmer) and watching football with his buddies. He regularly takes rock climbing trips to Yosemite with Van, his best friend from high school. Gary lives at Topper Towers.
