Usually, when people show entertaining pictures of cats at bath time, it's the cats who are getting bathed. But not here; this is the regular ritual when I take a bath. I start the water and they come running.

Lola and Tilly are fascinated with the human bathing ritual. It's cute for the first five minutes...

but who can enjoy a relaxing bath with two kitties staring at you like this?

While I bathe, Lola likes to crawl around behind me to wobble on the thin corner ledge in back. Tilly climbs onto my knees and puts her paws in the water. Lola bats the bar of soap so that it spins in circles on the edge of the tub.

Let's just say that showers are a good thing.
