About Lola and Tilly I adopted Lola and Tilly late in February of 2001, when they were about 5-1/2 and 4-1/2 months old (respectively). About three months earlier, I lost Purrscilla, my beloved tabby of 17-1/2 years. It didn't take me long to realize that I needed to hire some kittens to keep an eye on me. Their spastic antics helped me through the most difficult parts of my grieving process (though I will, in truth, always grieve for Purrscilla). I found Lola and Tilly through the Home At Last rescue organization. They were in a foster home with a couple of other kittens, hoping for permanent homes. While not biological sisters, they grew to become sisters of the heart during their fostering. I couldn't bear to separate them and so I adopted them together. You can learn more about Lola and Tilly by reading their profiles and visiting their galleries. As they demonstrate their special talents--it turns out Lola is a poet!--I will add more features. |
